Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, are expected to open on a positive note on April 8, taking cues from GIFT Nifty, which was trading around 22,658.50 earlier this morning.

However, reports suggest that China intends to stand firm against Trump’s measures.
On Monday, the 30-share benchmark index ended at 73137.9 down by -2226.79 points or by -2.95 % and then NSE Nifty was at 22161.6 down by -742.85 points or by -3.24 %.
On the global front, Asian stocks bounced back after the worst day on record, snapping a global slump sparked by concerns that President Donald Trump’s trade war will hurt economic growth.
