Indian benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, opened lower on Tuesday as investors awaited further clarity on the reciprocal tariffs scheduled to take effect from April 2.
At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 77393.93 down by -20.99 points or by -0.03 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23532.35 up by 13 points or by 0.06 %.
Sensex touched intraday high of 77487.05 and intraday low of 76775.79 The NSE Nifty touched intraday high of 23535.55 and intraday low of 23339.1
