Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty closed slightly higher on Tuesday, marking their seventh consecutive session of gains, even as markets faced profit-booking following recent sharp advances.
The 30-share benchmark index ended at 78017.19 up by 32.81 points or by 0.04 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23668.65 up by 10.3 points or by 0.04 %.
