Indian benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and Nifty50, opened higher on Tuesday, supported by improving global cues. This comes as President Donald Trump signaled a more lenient approach to imposing reciprocal tariffs, despite his continued threats of tariffs on additional sectors.
At 9:45 hours, the 30-share benchmark index was trading at 78508.56 up by 524.18 points or by 0.67 % and then NSE Nifty was at 23786.2 up by 127.85 points or by 0.54 %.
