Shares of logistic companies extended rally on Tuesday after the government cleared road for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) rollout from July 1 this year instead of the earlier deadline of April 1.
Buoyed by the development, shares of Snowman Logistics gained as much as 6.64 per cent to hit intra-day high of Rs 63.40 apiece on Bombay Stock Exchange.
In a similar fashion, stocks of company rose 2.61 per cent to Rs 60.95 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Among others, Gati, Patel Integrated Logistics, Transport Corporation of India, Gateway Distriparks and VRL Logistics rose between 1 to 5 per cent on the BSE.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 27,210.72, down 77.45 points, or 0.27 per cent, at 12:10 hours.
