Zinc Futures Edge Up on Strong Demand

Zinc prices climbed 15 paise to ?276.80 per kg in futures trading on Wednesday, driven by increased spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), April zinc contracts rose 0.06% with a turnover of 2,937 lots.

Analysts attributed the price increase to higher demand from consuming industries and expanded positions by market participants.
