Aluminium prices edged up by 25 paise to Rs 255.70 per kilogram in the futures market on Tuesday, as speculators placed fresh bets amid a favorable spot market trend.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for April delivery rose by 0.1% to Rs 255.70 per kg, with a trading volume of 2,515 lots.
According to analysts, the price increase was driven by fresh positions taken by traders, supported by steady demand from consuming industries.
