Gold prices slipped by Rs 122 to Rs 87,869 per 10 grams in futures trading on Monday, impacted by subdued spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, April delivery gold contracts declined Rs 122, or 0.14%, to Rs 87,869 per 10 grams, with a trading volume of 14,106 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in gold prices to weak global market trends.
