Copper futures edged up on Monday, gaining Rs 2.45 to reach Rs 904.20 per kilogram, driven by increased spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, April delivery copper contracts climbed Rs 2.45, or 0.27%, to Rs 904.20 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,063 lots.
Analysts credited the price increase to stronger participation and higher bets by traders.
