Aluminium futures edge higher on fresh buying interest

Aluminium prices saw a slight uptick on Tuesday, rising by 5 paise to Rs 257.35 per kilogram in the futures market as traders placed fresh bets amid a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium futures for April delivery climbed 0.02% to Rs 257.35 per kg, with a total of 215 lots traded.

According to market analysts, the rise in aluminium prices was driven by fresh positions taken by traders, supported by steady demand from key consuming industries.
