As of December 2024, 73.75% is owned by Promoters and 26.25% by Public.

Among Promoters holding, Indian Promoters holds 3.32% and Foreign Promoters holds 70.43%.

Top three Promoters holding highest number of shares of Essar Shipping company are Essar Africa Steel Holdings Limited (1243.62 lakhs shares / 60.09%), Idh International Drilling Holdco Limited (214.06 lakhs shares / 10.34%) and Imperial Consultants and Securities Private Limited (68.78 lakhs shares / 3.32%).
